TRAININGS

Training in a small group

Trainings in small groups (up to 6 people) combine the advantages of an individual approach and the dynamics of team work. This format allows the coach to pay significant attention to each athlete, analyze and correct their actions in detail, while maintaining focus on personal goals. At the same time, working in a group creates healthy competition, increases motivation, and allows to develop game interaction in conditions close to real ones.

Training schedule and location.

Trainings take place on Saturdays at RVT hall (Dārzciema street 70)

Price for four training sessions is 80 EUR.

TECHNICAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM Ball Mastery

1. Dribbling on the move

Goal:
  • The player confidently controls the ball while moving, can change direction, rhythm, and pace, keeping the ball under control.
Focus:
  • Ball control with both feet;

  • Feints and direction change;

  • Use of the body;

  • Working with the ball at speed.

This is the foundation with which any development begins — without confident ball control, the player cannot receive, pass, or solve tasks under pressure.

2. Passing and first touch

Goal:

  • To control the ball effectively — to receive and deliver it to the right place, at the right time, and at the right angle.

Focus:

  • First touch in the direction of play;

  • Pass to the partner's correct foot away from the opponent;

  • Playing with one or two touches;

  • Awareness and body orientation when receiving the ball.

Modern football requires that the first touch is already part of the traditional solution, not just ball control.

 3. Speed of thinking

 Goal:
  • Minimize the time between considering the situation and executing the action.

Focus:

  • Scanning the space before receiving the ball.

  • Making decisions in advance.

  • Playing under pressure with time constraints.

  • Lifting the head, reading the game.

  • Reacting to changes in the situation.

This level is the transition from technique to cognitive speed, without which it is impossible to play fast, modern football.

4. 1-on-1 play
Goal:

  • Ability to act in 1-on-1 situations, both in attack and defense.

Focus:
  • Deceptive movements, direction changes, pace changes.

  • Maintaining distance in attack and defense.

  • Playing with the body, ability to keep the ball.

  • Developing self-confidence in individual play.

Here, the player's personality is used — the opportunity to express oneself in a specific episode and take responsibility.

 5. Ability to act under pressure
Goal:

  • Execution of all previous levels (technique, thinking, decisions) under stress, speed, and endurance.

Focus:

  • Playing at high speed.

  • Emotional resilience.

  • Maintaining precision when tired.

  • Decision-making under time and space pressure.

This is the top of the pyramid — the ability to apply technique and thinking in a real game, where everything happens very quickly and under opponent pressure.
